Overall Meaning:

The song "Fasle Gul Hai" by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan is an Urdu ghazal that speaks about the beauty of spring and the pleasures that it brings. The beginning of the song encourages the listener to intoxicate themselves in the season of flowers. It tells them not to be persistent, but instead surrender to the beauty of the season. As the song progresses, the lyrics touch on the idea that sometimes, sadness is the only wine that might be available to drink. It suggests that one should drink the tears of suffering if they cannot find any other wine to drink.

Further, the song talks about living in the state of unconsciousness for some time and the importance of drinking because it is the charity from the tavern. The lyrics suggest that one should not be restrained and should drink as much as they want, as there will be an accounting on the day of judgment. Towards the end of the song, it talks about the heavenly intoxication and urges Adam to enjoy the pleasures of drinking.

In essence, the song is about living in the moment and not worrying about what might happen in the future. It suggests that we should enjoy the beauty of life while we can, without being restricted by societal norms or other people's judgments.
